PE and Sport Premium for primary schools 2016-17

What is the PE and Sport Premium for primary schools 2016-17?

The PE and Sport Premium is funding for schools to improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils. Schools are free to manage the spending of this grant in the way that serves their pupils best.

Since February 2017, Northview has been working in partnership with Premier Sports, a team of sports specialist providers. Premier Sports have been providing quality PE to all classes, including extra lunchtime clubs such as yoga, breakdancing and Zumba and also after school sports clubs such as ball skills and fencing.

We invest heavily in Sports at Northview as we believe that good physical health promotes strong performance in all other areas of the curriculum and that it builds confidence and independence.
