As the Chair of Governors, it is a privilege to welcome you to our school community. On behalf of the governing body, I would like to share our vision for Northview and our commitment to every child who walks through our doors.
Our primary role as governors is to provide strategic leadership and ensure that the school delivers the highest quality of education in a safe, nurturing environment. We work closely with the Headteacher and the senior leadership team to set ambitious goals, monitor progress, and ensure that the school’s resources are used effectively to benefit all pupils.
What We Focus On:
- Academic Excellence: We challenge and support the school to ensure that teaching is inspiring and that every child reaches their full potential.
- Well-being & Safety: The safety and happiness of our students are our top priorities. We ensure that Northview remains a place where children feel valued and heard.
- Community & Inclusion: Located in the heart of Brent, we celebrate our rich cultural diversity. We strive to make Northview an inclusive hub where families from all backgrounds feel welcome.
The governing body is made up of volunteers, including parents, staff, and members of the local community. We are all united by a single goal: to see the children of Northview thrive.
