Mathematics

Maths is a journey and long-term goal, achieved through on-going exploration, curiosity, practice, investigation and using & applying. At each stage of learning, all our pupils should be able to demonstrate a deep, conceptual understanding of different mathematical concepts and be able to build on this over time. Our aim is to ensure that all our pupils develop long-term, secure and adaptable understanding of Mathematics. We want all our pupils to be able to take leadership over their own learning; appreciate the relevance of Mathematics outside of the school environment and link different mathematical concepts learnt in class to real life problem solving situations.
