Religious Education

Firfield Primary School - Religious Education (R.E.)

At our school, we utilise the comprehensive Kapow scheme to deliver high-quality Religious Education (RE). This innovative approach is designed to engage students with diverse beliefs while fostering a deep understanding of world religions and ethical frameworks. The Kapow curriculum equips pupils with critical thinking skills and encourages them to explore fundamental questions about existence, morality, and the significance of faith.

Through the study of various religions, students learn to respect differing viewpoints and appreciate the richness of cultural diversity. Our Golden Rules—Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Honest—are integral to our RE curriculum, promoting empathy and understanding in our school community.

We believe that it is important for parents and carers to be involved in their children's education. Therefore, we respectfully inform you that you have the right to withdraw your child from RE lessons if you wish to do so. Should you wish to discuss this further, please make an appointment with the headteacher.
