History

Our aim is to provide a high-quality history education that will enable all our pupils to gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world. It should inspire all pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past. Teaching should equip pupils to ask questions and think critically, compare evidence, and make arguments for and against. All children should be able to understand the process of change, the diversity of societies and the relationships between different groups as well as their own identity and the challenges of their time.
